Richard Kies, ABC – Vice President of Development

Richard joined the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan in 2024 and brings over 20 years of non-profit experience to this newly created role. His previous experience as a fundraiser, communicator, and executive leader includes six years as Executive Director for the Kinsmen TeleMiracle Foundation and 15 years with the Canadian Red Cross.

Richard earned his Bachelor of Administration degree and Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Regina and holds an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) designation from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Richard believes in giving back both locally and globally through voluntary leadership roles with the Saskatoon Society of Fundraising Executives (SSFRE), University of Regina Alumni Association (URAA) and IABC.
