Fuel Good Day Raises $68,800 for Cancer Patients and their Home Away from Home
$68,800 is being donated to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan’s (Foundation), Regina Cancer Patient Lodge (Lodge) Renewal Campaign. The donation is thanks to Sherwood Co-op and the Co-op Refinery Complex’s Fuel Good Day.

For many motorcycle riders in Regina and the surrounding area, September is special. On the third Sunday, riders gather at Prairie Harley Davidson for the Annual Ride for Breast Cancer Screening. Together, they celebrate loved ones in remission or their cancer journey. They also remember those lost to this devastating disease.

Since the ride began more than $161,000 has been raised in support of breast cancer screening and the Mobile Mammography Bus.

Jakki currently serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) south Saskatchewan, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP).
